...we see a cheapo, straight-cut (noisy!) gear set at 3.73 ratio applicable to '67-'73 Jeep Commando AND '70-'81 Volvo 140/160.

This set MAY fit the Dana 30 in your '67 Amazon but a better solution is available.

I am still searching for the Volvo Part Number for the exact gear set for Dana 30 in your Y/M Volvo.

One note I saw on a 4X4 site stated that the Dana 30 diff case originally fitted with 3.73, 4.10, etc. would not accept gear sets 3.53, 3.07, etc.
