I have owned Volvos for slime time now, but am just now joining VCOA. I live in northern Alabama and have worked at the dealership for about 6 years. Due to some very unfortunate circumstances I have recently left the dealer for a position at a Benz store. So I am trying to keep up with Volvo and the people that I will miss being around.
So if you're in north Alabama and know of any events near the area please let me know. If anyone needs advice on repairs or needs help with repairs let me know also, I am a 6 year master tech with a VISTA win under my belt.

First, let me welcome you to VCOA.

I am not sure how active things are in Alabama at the present time, but there is a forum here for all chapters to use, so if there isn't anything happening, by all means feel free to make something happen!

I am very interested in seeing how your extensive diagnostic background could benefit the community at large. Let me look into a few things and come back to you. In the meantime, people do tend to post mechanical issues with the newer cars in the model section of the forum. See, for example. Cheers!
