I have a 2001 V70 that I have had since 2006 and now has ~115,000 Miles. After replacement of the lower control arms I had the car aligned. The shops alignment machine gave the optimal total toe in for the front as 0.35 degrees. This sound to me like about twice as much toe-in as it should be. For the Rear the machine gave the optimal total toe-in as 0.18 which also seem like to much toe-in.
I would like to know what all of the Volvo alignment specs for my car are, particularly the Toe-in.

I'm a new comer to VCOA and expected to find the service manual in the Technical Documents - Front wheel drive cars, part of VOCA web site but it is completely empty. Access to the Technical manuals was the major reason I joined VOCA. I need a hint on how to navigate this web site.

Any help with the toe-in specs or finding the technical manuals part of this site would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum.

Volvo Cars from early 1990s to current use a computerized repair/maintenance system that is not freely published or shared. Reasons for this are many but mostly to protect patented system from infringement.

Looking here...

...and clicking on Page 140 we see the data you seek on the Volvo Cars Owner web site. This is available to all internet users.

Your V70 being a 2001 has a multitude of tech info available on the web but be wary as much misinformation is out there...

As to clicking around on the "new" VCOA web site - spend some time "hovering" over the dropdown menus along the top bar and enjoy the ride!
