I am a new member (just posted under new member forum ) and would like some advice as to sources for bumpers for my newly acquired 544.
The bumpers are are not dented but chrome is poor. Is re-chroming more cost effective and a better option ?
Thanks
Dave

Welcome to the Forum, Dave.

Re-chrome is the way to fly as new bumpers are $$$.

Be sure to check the bumper brackets and hardware for fatigue/corrosion, etc.

Is this a restoration project or ready-to-drive?

Pictures? Gallery?

Thanks.

This car is ready to drive but as with all old cars...always somethig to do. Car is in transit and due on Tuesday. Will need a paint job in the future. Being from Texas , it is very rust free.
Chroming isn't too cheap either but I will begin getting quotes .
Thanks for your response. Being new to vintage Volvos I will new a lot of guidance . Where to buy parts and how to etc.. But it will be exciting and a challenge.
Thanks
Dave
